Dowd is one of the top offensive players in the world, winning a gold medal with Team USA at the World Cup in 2013 with 26 goals to earn All-World honors. She was named Best Women’s Player for 2013 by Lacrosse Magazine. Dowd was also a member of the Long Island Sound of the UWLX in 2016, where she was a Champion and All-Star. She also played for the WPLL Fight in 2019, where she led the team in points and was named a WPLL All-Star.
