Biography
Personal: Beyond basketball, Mitchell enjoys going to the movies and reading fictional novels. Her athletic endeavors as a child included participation in soccer, track and field, and karate. She has a twin sister and was inducted into the Princeton High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020. If not a basketball player, Mitchell would be an athletic director and acknowledges her parents as significant figures in her life.
2023 Season: In her second year in AU Pro Basketball, Mitchell secured ninth place on the league's final leaderboard with 5,386 points. She showcased an impressive performance, accumulating 2,526 stat points and ranking second in the league with 510 win points. Mitchell's standout moments included notching 500 or more leaderboard points in a game five times, achieving a career-high 628 points against Team Cloud in the Week One finale. She tied the league lead with nine Game MVP awards, setting a single-season record with 48 made three-pointers and a 111 three-point field goal attempts. Mitchell stood fourth in the league with a .432 three-point field goal percentage and an average of 21.1 points per game. She consistently reached double figures in scoring, recording nine 20-point performances, including three games with 25 or more points. Other Professional Experience: Mitchell's professional career includes being drafted with the No. 2 overall pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2018 WNBA Draft.
