Nerissa Myers
Biography
Myers began her softball career playing slow pitch, but transitioned to fast pitch in the eighth grade. In 2013, she hit her first professional home run off of Lisa Norris, who she married in 2018. Myers enjoys woodworking, gardening, and spending time with their four dogs.
Myers began her professional career with the Akron Racers in 2014 where she was named an All-NPF selection and earned Offensive Player of the Year. She joined the Scrap Yard Dawgs in 2016 and won the Cowles Cup Championship in 2017. In 2018, Myers became a member of the Great Britain National Team. She played internationally with Italy’s Specchiasol Bussolengo in 2019, where she was named MVP, and won the Women’s Italian Premier Cup and European Championship.
