Edmond is the third AU Volleyball Champion, following inaugural champion Jordan Larson and 2022 champion Bethania de la Cruz. After five weeks of play, she finished the season No. 1 on the leaderboard with 4,313 points. Edmond has spent her entire professional volleyball career with AU. She was a star for UK from 2016-2019, earning All-American honors each season and leading her teams to four NCAA Tournament appearances.
The back-to-back Southeastern Conference Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019, Edmond is the all-time kills leader in program history in the 25-point rally-scoring era. She helped lead Kentucky to an undefeated season in the SEC and two consecutive SEC championships.
Edmond was not the only Wildcat to compete in the 2023 season; outside hitter Alli Linnehan was also a medalist, finishing second overall. Middle blocker Kaz Brown also finished in the top half of the final leaderboard. Edmond played with both Brown and Linnehan during her time as a Wildcat.
