Morgan DeBord has signed to continue her professional career with Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball and will compete in the Championship Season in Rosemont, Illinois. DeBord debuted with the league in June during its AUX competition in Wichita, Kansas.

DeBord spent four seasons at Loyola Marymount and played a fifth year at the University of Minnesota. During her season as a graduate student at Minnesota, DeBord was a Second-Team NFCA All-Great Lakes Region and All-Big Ten Conference honoree. She also secured a spot on the Big Ten All-Defensive Team, being the Golden Gophers’ second-leading hitter with a .359 batting average while ranking third on the squad with 52 hits.

She batted .310 over four seasons at Loyola Marymount with 14 home runs and 85 RBIs.

DeBord had limited playing time at AUX as a rookie but will aim to earn a starting spot in the upcoming season.

The fifth season of AU Pro Softball returns to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois on July 26. Tickets are on sale.
