The penultimate week is in the books and all eyes now turn to Week Four where a champion will be crowned.

Here’s a look at which players made the biggest jumps on the leaderboard in Week Three.

Mover of the Week

Caylee Waters picked up 415 points in Week Three, which was the most of any player. She climbed 18 spots on the leaderboard into the No. 8 spot with 889 points overall.

She tallied 28 in three games and helped Team Apuzzo to a 2-1 week. She earned 250 win points, aided by a sweep against Team Glynn on Thursday.

Waters also posted eight saves in a shutout first half in Saturday’s matchup against Team Bosco. She went on to finish the game with 13 saves and thwarted Team Bosco’s shootout attempts, earning MVP 1 honors.

PLAY IT COOL

Marie McCool also jumped 18 spots in Week Three, ranking No. 6 at the start of Week Four. She tallied 424 points.

She was on fire this week for Team Bosco, scoring 11 goals, including two hat tricks. She added four assists and eight ground balls. Her efforts earned her MVP honors in all three games for an additional 90 points.

A Familiar Foe

It’s deja vu all over again. Taylor Moreno and Sam Apuzzo will enter Week Four of the 2023 season the same way they did in 2022: No. 1 and No. 2 on the leaderboard.

Last week, we took a look at how the two compare across the point categories. Here’s how things are shaping up after Week Three.

  • Win Points
    • Moreno: 545 Points | Apuzzo: 755 Points
  • Stat Points
    • Moreno: 621 Points | Apuzzo: 246 Points
  • MVP Points
    • Moreno: 135 Points | Apuzzo: 240 Points

Moreno’s lead in the stat point category has grown to 375 points, but Apuzzo has increased the gap in win points to 210.

Overall, Apuzzo has cut the deficit to 60 points heading into Week Three and with a race this close, Sunday’s finale is one you don’t want to miss.

Tune in
