Greyhounds Geiger and Glynn are set to return for 2023 Lacrosse season

Katrina Geiger and Kady Glynn won’t be far from their collegiate days at Loyola University Maryland as they further their careers as pros this summer. Both athletes will compete in their third season with Athletes Unlimited beginning July 20 in Sparks, Md.

Geiger is a veteran pro who logged 16 ground balls with 10 caused turnovers and two assists in her latest season with AU. She was a six-year letter winner for the Greyhounds from 2013-2018 and currently serves as an assistant coach at Drexel University alongside AU teammate Katie O’Donnell.

Glynn is a 2021 AU Lacrosse medalist who has finished in the top 10 in both seasons with the league. The goalie is a multi-week captain and is a leader in career saves with 160 in two seasons. Most recently she finished No. 10 overall, tied for fifth with 120 MVP points, and registered 102 saves in 12 games – good for a share of second place among the league’s netminders. Glynn was a four-year letter winner for the Greyhounds and recipient of Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2019.
