Attackers Levy, Fortunato and McMahon return for season 3

Season 3 of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse returns attackers Nicole Levy, Cortney Fortunato, and Izzy McMahon to the roster. They will compete in the 2023 season in Sparks, Md. starting July 20. All three athletes are third-year players and are part of an exclusive group to have a streak of at least three games with a two-pointer.

Levy started in all 12 games during the second season of AU Lacrosse with five games of 100 leaderboard points or more. She tallied 13 goals and eight assists. Levy is fifth all-time in points scored (55) and is second for single-season two-point goals scored with seven in 2021.

Fortunato ranked seventh in the league with 17 goals in the 2022 season and is third in career points with 64 logged across her two seasons. Fortunato had a season-high four markers with two assists against Team Arsenault in Week 2. In the 2021 season, she tied for the league lead with 10 games of 100 or more points.

McMahon is a third-year returner who appeared in all 12 games last season. In 2022 she tallied 14 goals with five assists. McMahon became the first player in AU Lacrosse history to score a two-point goal in four consecutive games when she reached the feat from Aug. 5 – Aug. 11.
