Claire Davidson Signs for AU Pro Softball Season 5
The two-way player competed at Duke from 2021 to 2024 and ranks fourth in program history with a .355 career batting average, 28 home runs, and 116 RBIs. She tallied 149 hits, including 36 doubles and two triples. Davidson posted a 3.02 ERA in the circle with a 14-2 record and two saves.
She was a consensus First-Team All-America selection in 2024 by D1Softball, Softball America, and the NFCA. She was also a Top 10 finalist for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award and one of four finalists for the 2024 Honda Award for Softball. She set single-season records with 20 doubles and 67 RBIs.
Davidson was unanimously selected as the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year as she led the Blue Devils to the ACC regular season and tournament titles, in addition to its first-ever NCAA Women’s College World Series appearance.
