Alabama's Kayla Beaver signs with AU Pro Softball

Alabama pitcher Kayla Beaver has signed with Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball and will make her professional debut at the Championship season in Rosemont, Illinois.

Beaver was a 2024 NFCA Second Team All-American and USA Softball Player of the Year Finalist for the Crimson Tide. In her senior season, she made 40 appearances, including 30 starts. Beaver recorded 15 complete games in the circle and threw a seven-inning no-hitter in her Alabama debut against Villanova on Feb. 8. Her ERA was an impressive 1.68, holding opponents to a .196 batting average.

She spent the first three seasons of her collegiate career at Central Arkansas before transferring. She led the team with a 25-7 record and a 1.15 ERA in 2023. Her eleven shutouts that year ranked third nationally. She finished her junior year in the D1 Top 10 for wins and ERA.

The fifth season of AU Pro Softball returns to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois on July 26. Tickets are on sale.
