Another member of the 2025 WNBA draft class is headed to Nashville. Rookie forward Aneesah Morrow will join Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball Season 5, where she will get the chance to gain experience and prove herself among the veterans and fellow rookies signed on to compete this winter.

Morrow was selected seventh overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun and has already begun to show her potential in her first professional season, averaging 7.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. She posted a season-high 20 points on June 27 against the Seattle Storm, showcasing the scoring touch that made her one of the most accomplished players in NCAA history.

Before turning pro, Morrow put together a decorated college career with two seasons at DePaul followed by two at LSU, where she became the first player in program history to win the Katrina McClain Award as the nation’s best power forward. She was a four-time All-American and earned First Team recognition from the WBCA, USBWA, and Wooden Award in 2025, while also leading the nation in rebounding for the second time in her career. She was a two-time First-Team All-SEC pick, a member of the SEC All-Defensive Team, and had previously earned First-Team All-Big East honors twice, along with Big East Freshman of the Year recognition in 2022.

Her statistical output matched her accolades. Morrow finished her college career with 2,852 points, the 25th most in NCAA Division I history, and 1,714 rebounds, the third most all-time. She also recorded 104 career double-doubles, the second most in NCAA history, and posted multiple 20-point, 20-rebound games, including 23 points and 21 boards at Tennessee during her senior year. She set a DePaul single-game scoring record with 45 points against Northwestern and a Big East single-game rebounding record with 27 at Seton Hall, while finishing with double-digit scoring in nearly every game she played.

Now, after establishing herself as one of the most dominant forwards in the college game and gaining early WNBA experience with the Sun, Morrow will add another chapter to her career in Nashville this winter with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball.

AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
