Khat Bell and Kayla Caffey, a powerful pair of standouts from Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball’s 2024 competition, are set to reprise their debut performances in the 2025 Championship this fall.

The addition of the two stars adds even more talent to the already competitive field of athletes signed on so far. After wrapping two successful campaigns this spring – Bell with League One’s Austin squad, and Caffey with the Pro Volleyball Federation’s Omaha Supernovas – the two are prepared to launch into the AU competition that will crown a sole champion.

Kayla Caffey

Fresh off her season with the Supernovas, Caffey will be right at home for the Omaha stretch of the AU Pro Volleyball Championship. She enters the 2025 competition after finishing 21st on the leaderboard in 2024, with 2,144 points. Known for her blocking prowess, Caffey ranks fifth in league history with 57 solo blocks, and she also posted the sixth-highest single-season total in AU history with 31 solo blocks during the 2024 season. Her performance was highlighted by a career-high seven solo blocks and 13 kills as a team captain, leading her team to multiple top finishes.

Caffey’s impressive block numbers were matched by her offensive contributions, with 63 kills and 24 digs over 44 sets. She earned two MVP honors during the season, including a standout MVP 1 performance in the season opener against Team Nuneviller, where she registered six kills, four digs, three solo blocks, and a block assist. She also claimed MVP 3 accolades against Team Hentz on October 7, tallying seven kills and five solo blocks on a .466 hitting percentage.

Before her AU Pro Volleyball career, Caffey played for Criolla de Caguas in Puerto Rico and Grand Rapids in the inaugural PVF season. Her time in college was equally impressive, with stints at Missouri, Nebraska, and Texas, where she accumulated over 800 kills and 450 blocks, including a standout season at Nebraska that earned her AVCA All-America honors.

Khat Bell

In her first AU Pro Volleyball season, Khat Bell claimed 13th place with 2,560 leaderboard points, cementing herself as one of the league’s top players. Bell’s consistency was key, appearing in all 46 sets over 15 matches. She ranked seventh in the league with 152 kills, and also contributed 122 digs and 22 solo blocks.

Bell’s standout performances included earning MVP 1 accolades twice, first in her AU debut on October 3 against Team Valentin-Anderson, where she posted 12 kills and six digs. Her second MVP 1 recognition came on October 14 with a stellar 12 kills, seven digs, and four solo blocks in a win over Team Caffey. Bell’s season-high performance of 362 leaderboard points came on October 20, where she tallied 15 kills and eight digs against Team Drews.

With 10 years of international experience, including two Philippines League championships and a Korean League title, Bell is no stranger to success on the global stage. Her college career at Texas, where she helped the Longhorns to a 2012 NCAA title and earned multiple AVCA All-America honors, only adds to her credibility on court.

The 2025 AU Pro Volleyball Championship will feature 44 of the world’s top volleyball players in an exclusive, high-stakes tournament to determine the ultimate champion of the sport. These elite athletes, handpicked from the best domestic and international pro leagues, will face off in the nation’s premier volleyball hubs in Omaha, Nebraska, at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena (October 1-15) and in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Alliant Energy Center (October 22 – November 3). Series ticket deposits for both locations are now available here.
