Keri Lockett
Head of Sports Marketing Basketball, Pepsico
Keri Lockett is the Director of Sports Marketing for Gatorade/PepsiCo and currently oversees all individual team, athlete and league partnerships in the basketball vertical (NBA, WNBA and the G League, as well as NCAA NIL). She is responsible for developing and driving the global basketball sports marketing strategy for the PepsiCo beverage portfolio.
Before joining the sports marketing team, Keri ran the Gatorade High School Player of the Year program that awards elite high school student athletes for their accomplishments across the three pillars of athletics, academics and character. In that role, she launched Gatorade’s pro-social initiative, Gatorade Play It Forward, that focuses on providing access to sport for youth athletes. Leveraging Gatorade’s brand power for good remains a high priority for her which is why she is dedicated to working on strategic practices to keep young female athletes in the game and advance Gatorade’s mission to elevate women’s sports. Additionally, she sits on the company’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion task force that addresses the issue of systemic racism and the role it plays in our people, our business, the sports industry.
Prior to joining Gatorade, Keri headed up consumer marketing for the Big Ten network where she was responsible for driving the marketing strategy, grassroots & event activation, campaign creation and digital marketing initiatives for the network. Keri earned her M.B.A from Notre Dame University and her Bachelors degree from University of Illinois where she was a proud member of the Fighting Illini softball team.
