USA Softball wins Gold at 2023 Pan American Games

Nine Athletes Unlimited Softball players are bringing home the gold medal after competing with Team USA at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.

Aliyah Andrews, Sis Bates, Mia Davidson, Rachel Garcia, Aubrey Leach, Amanda Lorenz, Haylie McCleney, Dejah Mulipola, and Kathryn Sandercock took the field in an undefeated feat by the Eagles.

It’s the 10th Pan American Games gold medal for USA Softball.

Highlights from the tournament included a strong performance in the circle and at the plate for Garcia, who went 7-for-13 with six RBIs and had 12 strikeouts across 9.1 innings; a dominant 5-for-5 day at the plate by Mulipola in the Super Round with four home runs and nine RBIs; and a 3-for-3 performance by Bates against Canada with a double and two RBIs.
