Team Ohlmiller and Team Waters met in the second game of Saturday afternoon, with Caylee Waters seeking a star performance in hopes of catching up to Taylor Cummings on the overall leaderboard.

It was an exciting, back-and-forth game with four lead changes in the fourth quarter. Ultimately, Team Ohlmiller came out with the close 12-11 win.

Here are the highlights from the matchup between Team Waters and Team Ohlmiller:

Neither offense was able to capitalize early, as the goalkeepers did an excellent job blocking shots. Mira Shane had multiple saves early, building on an already strong weekend.

Ally Kennedy put the first point on the board for Team Ohlmiller, sending a rocket past the diving Caylee Waters to make it 1-0.

After a brilliant behind-the-back pass from Kylie Ohlmiller, Emily Parros put it away and put her team up by two.

Parros added her second goal of the game with just 18 seconds left in the quarter off a feed from Izzy McMahon, making it three unanswered goals from Team Ohlmiller. However, Kenzie Kent refused to let her team be scoreless in the first quarter. She sent a bounce shot past Shane with eight seconds remaining to bring the score to 3-1, but Team Ohlmiller still won the quarter and earned 20 win points.

Ohlmiller opened the second quarter with a goal of her own, getting separation from her defender and scoring off her weak hand.

Kent immediately answered with her second goal of the day, making the score 4-2. Nicole Levy quickly made it a one goal game, shooting a bullet past Shane for her 17th of the season.

Katrina Dowd put Team Ohlmiller back up by two with a slice and dice between the defense, placing the ball perfectly past Waters.

Levy added her second goal of the game with just over a minute and a half remaining in the second quarter, running all the way around the goal cage and scoring with a diving finish. Sammy Jo Tracy answered just eight seconds later off the draw to make it 6-4.

With 20 quarter points on the line, Amanda Johansen batted the ball past Shane using the outside of her crosse with less than a second on the clock, winning the quarter for Team Waters and bringing them within one.

After a brief weather delay, the third quarter kicked off with an over-the-shoulder goal from Leavy for the hat trick, tying the game at six goals apiece.

Dowd added her second goal of the game shortly after to put Team Ohlmiller up 7-6.

With just over two minutes left in the quarter, Team Waters tied up the game once again as Taryn Vanthof scored after a fake.

Kennedy showed off her quickness and athleticism as she powered through the defense, scoring her second goal of the game and putting Team Ohlmiller back on top.

Vanthof added onto her outstanding day with yet another goal to tie the game 8-8, with under a minute left in the third quarter. That last minute effort allowed Team Waters to win the third quarter, giving Waters 20 more points in her bid to unseat Cummings from first place.

To start the fourth quarter, Alex Aust notched her first goal of the game for Team Waters to give the orange team their first lead of the day.

Ohlmiller answered with back to back goals to take back the lead for her team, quickly securing a hat trick.
