Nuneviller Excels in PVF’s First-Ever All-Star Match
In was a historic weekend for professional women’s volleyball. The Pro Volleyball Federation’s All-Star Match became the first-ever women’s pro volleyball game to be broadcast nationally. The game aired live on CBS and was held in front of a hefty crowd of 6,943 at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana. The league’s inaugural All-Star match was a thrilling showcase of talent and grit from the best of the PVF.
Outside hitter Brooke Nuneviller led the charge and again proved why she earned a spot on the PVF Preseason All-League Team. Representing the Omaha Supernovas, Nuneviller suited up for Team Shondell in their matchup against Team Collier.
Team Shondell ultimately secured the victory with a 58-47 total point score, and Nuneviller was at the center of the action. She led all players with 13 points, recording 11 kills, a block, and a service ace. She also topped the team with a 70% positive reception rate and had zero attack errors, showcasing her precision and attention to detail.
Her impact was especially evident in the first set, where she delivered six kills and an ace during a crucial stretch that turned a 2-2 tie into a commanding 13-7 lead.

An outside hitter-setter connection is crucial on the court, and thanks to their experience in Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball, the All-Star match wasn’t the first time setter Alisha Childress and Nuneviller played on the same side of the net.
“We’ve played together a little bit,” Nuneviller said of her connection with Childress. “She’s so good — she knows exactly the kind of ball I like. It felt pretty seamless as soon as we stepped on the court. I think I’m known for getting smart swings, using the block well, and finding good shots, and that was working for me today.”
This performance was just another testament to Nuneviller’s consistency throughout the season. She currently ranks fourth in the league in kills, third in digs, and sixth in total points. More importantly, her Omaha Supernovas sit atop the PVF standings as the league’s No. 1 team, with Nuneviller serving as a key leader on the court.
With the league continuing to grow in popularity and talent, the PVF All-Star match was a glimpse into the bright future of professional women’s volleyball. And with players like Nuneviller leading the way, the sport’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
Next, Nuneviller returns to regular season action with Omaha, as they prepare to host the Indy Ignite on Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the match live on YouTube. The game will feature six standout players from AU Pro Volleyball, adding even more excitement to the showdown.
