Nicole Levy has announced that her career as a professional player has come to an end.

Levy competed three seasons with AU Pro Lacrosse after graduating from Syracuse. She is focusing on her coaching career and is entering her second year as an assistant at the University of Florida.

Levy shared the following sentiments about her career with AU Pro Lacrosse:

Athletes Unlimited has done so much for me the past three years. The organization has granted me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love, as well as open so many doors in my career. Most importantly it has introduced me to some of the most inspiring people in my life. Athletes Unlimited has granted me the gift of developing lifelong friendships that I will be forever grateful for. I have decided that it is time for me to hang up the cleats and pick up the clipboard. Lacrosse has always been and forever will be my biggest passion. Thank you to all the friends I have had the opportunity to play with and against these last three years. I will cherish every memory I have made with some incredible people.

Levy was one of 12 players named to the Team USA roster for the 2023 World Lacrosse Women’s Super Sixes Event.

She is a native of East Islip, New York who spent her four-year collegiate career at Syracuse University where she recorded 81 assists, ranking eighth all-time in SU’s history. The East Islip, N.Y. native also finished 10th in the record books for total points (222) and was just the 10th Syracuse player to eclipse the 200-point mark. Levy was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List three times.
