Elizabeth Williams, Alysha Clark Post Season Highs in WNBA Week 6
Elizabeth Williams stepped up in a season-best outing in Week 6 of the WNBA calendar. The veteran center found her rhythm, recording her most productive game of the year despite the Chicago Sky’s 93–80 loss to Atlanta.
Williams finished with 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting, adding five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks across a season-high 22 minutes. It marked her first double-digit scoring performance of 2025 and her most playing time since the start of the 2025 season.
Williams has quietly been trending upward in recent outings. Over her past five games, she’s averaged 9.2 points and 3.2 rebounds—showing more offensive explosivity in the paint and a growing presence on both ends of the floor. With Chicago continuing to search for defensive stability, her rim protection and interior scoring ability could make her more central to the team’s rotation moving forward.
Alysha Clark – Seattle Storm
Alysha Clark was another AU Pro Basketball standout to put up a season-high performance in Week 6. The Seattle forward posted 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting in Tuesday’s win over the Sparks. She added two rebounds and knocked down shots at a 71% clip, one of her most efficient games of the season.
Jaylyn Sherrod – New York Liberty
After briefly exiting with a leg injury, Jailyn Sherrod returned to help the New York Liberty close out a win over Seattle. The second-year guard logged 14 minutes—her most since early June—and dropped a season-high eight points to go along with two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Sherrod’s defensive pressure was especially timely for a Liberty team managing through injuries. Her role could continue to grow if the backcourt remains thin.
Alissa Pili – Minnesota Lynx
Minnesota gave Allissa Pili her longest look yet, and she made solid use of it. The rookie forward played 19 minutes—her highest total of the season—and contributed five points, four rebounds, and a steal.
Kia Nurse – Chicago Sky
Kia Nurse tallied her fourth double-figure scoring game of the season on Friday against Phoenix. She added three rebounds and two steals in the effort. While the Sky fell short, Nurse continues to bring steady veteran minutes to the wing.
