As AUX Softball approaches with Championship season close behind, the roster of Athletes Unlimited Softball players continues to fill out. Four pitchers — Carrie Eberle, Mariah Mazon, Odicci Alexander, and Haylie Wagner — have signed for both seasons in 2023.

Carrie Eberle’s two-year career with AU has a collection of accolades.

She was named the 2021 Rookie of the Year and finished her first campaign as the fourth-place medalist. In her debut season, she ranked second in the league for MVP points after a 3-2 record with two complete games and a save. That season she tied for a league lead of 13 games pitched and 10 games started and ranked fifth for her 3.16 ERA.

In 2022 Eberle registered 18 strikeouts across 32 innings pitched and batters averaged just a .290 average against her. She finished 26th overall in the final leaderboard standings.

Odicci Alexander enters her third season with the league this year. She finished in the top half of the final leaderboard standings in both seasons she has competed. Alexander most recently made nine appearances in the circle with five starts and two saves. She also registered three hits in eight at-bats, including a double against Team McCleney during the Week Five opener.

In her rookie year, Alexander posted a 2-1 record in 26.0 innings while ranking fifth in the league with 22 strikeouts.

She also represented Team USA at the 2022 Canada Cup, appearing in seven games while helping Team USA win gold.

Mariah Mazon was a late addition to the inaugural season of AUX but her potential as a rookie secured her a place at the Championship season. Her ERA was 3.50 at AUX and 3.97 during the Championship season.

That season she also recorded 24 strikeouts across her 30 innings, including a season-high four against Team McCleney in Week Five. Mazon registered at least two strikeouts in 10-of-11 appearances.

Haylie Wagner has been a staple at AU, competing in every season since the league’s inception in 2020. She has a career record of 10-8 and 4.08 ERA. Wagner’s best finish was in 2020 when she finished 10th overall on the final leaderboard. In 2022, Wagner also finished in the Top 20 at both AUX and the Championship season.

Some of her statistical highlights include being tied for third in the league with 23 strikeouts (2021), third in the league with 3.13 ERA (2020), and tying for second in the league with 62.0 innings pitched (2020).

Athletes Unlimited Softball returns with the start of AUX on June 12. Tickets are available now.
