CANCELLED: June 27 AUX Softball Games
Athletes Unlimited announced that tonight’s AUX games 17 & 18 will not be played because of poor air quality in the Chicago area due to the Canadian wildfires.
The games, which were scheduled to be the final two of the AUX season, will not be made up.
Tickets can either be fully refunded or redeemed for a game during Athletes Unlimited’s Championship Season which will be held at Parkway Bank Ballpark in Rosemont, Illinois from July 28 – August 27.
Points from Game 16 will not count toward the final point totals to ensure the number of games played among players is even.
As a result, pitcher Rachel Garcia (1,392 points) will be crowned the 2023 AUX Champion with infielder Aubrey Leach (1,158 points) and catcher Mia Davidson (1,122 points) rounding out the top three finishers.
Jessi Warren was named 2023 AUX Defensive MVP as voted upon by the players and facilitators.
The closing ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CT and will be recorded. Live updates will be posted to our social channels @AUProSports.
