AUX Softball Adds 4 Rookies to 2024 Roster

Jadelyn Allchin, Billie Andrews, Julia Cottrill, and Morgan DeBord will complete the 42-player roster.

The 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX roster has been finalized. The league announced Jadelyn Allchin, Billie Andrews, Julia Cottrill, and Morgan DeBord will complete the 42-player roster.

The AUX season begins on June 10 at Wilkins Stadium in Wichita, Kansas.

Jadelyn Allchin, UCLA, Outfielder

Allchin played four seasons at Washington before joining UCLA for the 2024 season. She finished her career with a .289 batting average with 26 home runs and 103 RBIs. 

She received Second-Team All-Pac-12 Conference as a graduate student with the Bruins, posting a career-high .317 batting average with 33 RBIs. 

Allchin received Pac-12 All-Freshman Team distinction in 2021 as a freshman with the Huskies. She has also competed with Team USA, earning a gold medal at the 2019 WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup. She hit .421 (8-for-19) with three home runs and nine RBIs. She also earned a bronze medal at the 2019 USA Softball International Cup.

Billie Andrews, Nebraska, Middle Infielder

Andrews hit a program-record 61 home runs and eight multi-home run games during her career at Nebraska. She is tied for seventh in program history with 157 career RBIs. She finished sixth in Huskers’ history with 238 hits.

The middle infielder is the 10th player in program history with multiple NFCA All-America honors, earning Third-Team status as a junior and senior. She is also a three-time NFCA All-Midwest Region and four-time All-Big Ten Conference selection.

Andrews was named Nebraska’s 2023-24 Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She led the Huskers in batting average (.383), hits (67), runs scored (55), home runs (18), runs batted in (45) and stolen bases (16).

Julia Cottrill, Texas A&M, Catcher

Cottrill competed at Florida and Oklahoma State before transferring to Texas A&M for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. 

She led the Aggies in home runs (10), doubles (12), runs batted in (43) and slugging percentage (.617). Cottrill received NFCA Third-Team All-America honors, First-Team All-SEC, and NFCA All-South Region recognition. 

She compiled a .309 career batting average with 199 hits, 35 home runs, and 156 runs batted in five seasons.

Cottrill also competed for Team USA at the 2019 WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup. She hit .400 with three RBIs and six runs scored en route to the gold medal. She also won the bronze medal with the team at the 2019 USA Softball International Cup.

Morgan DeBord, Minnesota, Outfielder

DeBord spent four seasons at Loyola Marymount before spending her final season at Minnesota She started in 206 games throughout her college career and posted a .323 batting average with 17 home runs, 196 hits, and 111 RBIs. 

She was a Second-Team NFCA All-Great Lakes Region, All-Big Ten Conference, and Big Ten All-Defensive Team selection at Minnesota. 

DeBord batted .310 over four seasons at Loyola Marymount with 14 home runs and 85 RBIs. She received Second-Team All-West Coast Conference recognition as a junior.
