Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball has signed pitcher Hope Trautwein. Trautwein will compete at AUX in Wichita, Kansas from June 10 to June 25, and the Championship season in Rosemont, Illinois, which begins on July 26.

Trautwein enters her third year as a pro and first with AU Pro Softball. She competed for two years with the USSSA Pride and most recently earned a selection to the 2023 All-WPF Team. Last season she put up a 5-3 record with a 2.29 earned run average and 47 strikeouts over 55.0 innings.

She also was an assistant coach for Houston softball, joining the staff in the summer of 2023.

In 2021 with North Texas, Trautwein made history, becoming the first NCAA Division I softball player to toss a seven-inning perfect game, striking out all 21 batters. She spent four years with the Mean Green before transferring to Oklahoma, helping the Sooners win a national championship in 2022. During her redshirt senior year, Trautwein furnished a 22-1 record with a 0.77 earned run average and was selected as a 2022 Women’s College World Series All-Tournament team member. She finished her collegiate career with an 82-25 record, 14 saves, a 1.82 ERA, and 850 strikeouts.

The fifth season of AU Pro Softball takes AUX on the road to Wichita, Kansas from June 10 to June 25 then to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois later in the summer. Tickets for AUX and the 2024 Championship season are on sale.
