AU Pro Basketball Unveils 2024 All-Defensive Team

Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball announced its 2024 All-Defensive Team on Wednesday afternoon as the league prepares for the final week of competition.

Five athletes, selected by players and facilitators, were voted to the team; Laeticia Amihere, Sydney Colson, Natasha Cloud, Emily Engstler, and Lexie Hull received the nod.

Cloud and Hull were previously named to the 2023 All-Defensive Team.

The honorees include league leader in rebounds Amihere (78), who is in her first campaign with AU Pro Basketball. Engstler leads the league in steals (21) and owns the single-season blocks record (24), which she broke in Week Three. Theresa Plaisance previously held the record with 22 blocks in 2023.

Hull ranks second in steals with 20 on the season, while Colson ranks fifth with 16. Cloud has 45 caroms, 11 steals, and 10 rejects entering Week Four.
