MSG NETWORKS, NESN AND ALTITUDE SPORTS TO REBROADCAST SEVEN ATHLETES UNLIMITED SOFTBALL GAMES
Athletes Unlimited announced agreements with MSG Networks, New England Sports Network (NESN) and Altitude Sports to re-air seven Monday games from its 2020 softball season. The deal will secure enhanced coverage of Athletes Unlimited among sports fans nationwide and generate additional visibility for Athletes Unlimited’s players and commercial partners.
MSG Networks serve the New York City as well as the Tri-State Metropolitan area and northern Pennsylvania, NESN serves the six-state New England region while Altitude serves eleven states in the Mountain West area including the Denver market.
The rebroadcasts bolster Athletes Unlimited Softball’s live distribution agreements with a combination of CBS Sports Network, ESPN and the Olympic Channel reaching more than 200 countries worldwide. As the lead broadcast television partner, CBS Sports Network is televising seven games in the United States and Canada while ESPN is distributing 23 games across its platforms in the U.S. ESPN is also distributing these 23 matchups outside the U.S via its platforms in Spanish-speaking Latin America and in Canada via its partner TSN. Olympic Channel is live streaming the games worldwide outside of CBS’s and ESPN’s exclusive territories.
In addition, Athletes Unlimited is partnering with WAVE.tv on platforms which include Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
“Our agreements with MSG Networks, NESN and Altitude Sports will generate additional exposure for our players and partners in key markets as well as provide our fans with another opportunity to watch our games,” said Jon Patricof, CEO and Co-Founder of Athletes Unlimited.
