Anissa Urtez signs for AU Pro Softball Championship Season
Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball has signed middle infielder Anissa Urtez for the 2024 Championship season in Rosemont, Illinois.
Urtez has been a competitor within the league since its inception, finishing in the top half of the leaderboard every season. She is coming off her highest leaderboard finish in 2023, ranking 11th in the final standings.
She was a starter in all 15 games recording a .261 batting average and .500 slugging percentage. Urtez shared fourth place in the league rankings by collecting 23 total bases. The infielder has been voted to the All-Defensive team twice and was the 2021 Championship Season GEICO Defensive Player of the Year.
Urtez competed on Team Mexico for six years from 2016 to 2121 and helped Team Mexico qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The fifth season of AU Pro Softball will return to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois this summer. Season tickets for the 2024 Championship season are on sale now. Season and single-day tickets for the 2024 AUX season in Wichita, Kansas are on sale now.
