Madison Doucette

Personal: Doucette is the daughter of Amy and Gary Doucette. Her father played ice hockey at Miami University. She is enrolled in the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins. Doucette was a three-sport athlete in high school and also played ice hockey and volleyball.

2024 Season: Doucette was one of 16 players selected in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse College Draft.

International Experience: Doucette was selected to represent Team USA in the 2019 U-19 World Championship. She led the United States to a Gold medal after making 25 saves over seven games. Doucette also notched five ground balls with a caused turnover while guiding Team USA to a perfect 7-0 record.

At John Hopkins: Doucette was a starter in all 20 games as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins after transferring from Northwestern. She authored a .453 save percentage and 10.96 goals against average while guiding the Blue Jays to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Doucette registered 10 or more saves in a game nine times, including a season-high 19 stops against Maryland on April 10, 2024. She also tallied 14 saves against Stony Brook and Penn.

At Northwestern: As a four-year letter winner at Northwestern who started 40-of-50 games from 2019-22, Doucette registered 336 saves with the Wildcats while stopping 40.7 percent of the shots she faced. She led the Wildcats to NCAA Championship Weekend appearances in 2021 and 2022, ranked second in the Big Ten Conference with 166 saves as a senior while owning sixth place in the league with a .422 save percentage. Doucette tied the Northwestern single-game record with 16 saves against Michigan on March 26, 2022, and paced the Big Ten with an 11.06 goals against average during her junior campaign. She was a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree at Northwestern and also earned Academic All-Big Ten notice three times.
