Nicole Edelman-Cagliari

Personal: Edelman-Cagliari majored in finance with a minor in Spanish at Colorado, showcasing her dedication not only to volleyball but also to her academic pursuits. Her family has a strong connection to volleyball, as her father, Nestor, played professional volleyball in Argentina and Europe. In a testament to her multicultural background and love for languages, Edelman-Cagliari is fluent in four languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. She has spent many vacations visiting relatives in Argentina, further enriching her cultural experiences. Outside of volleyball, her hobbies include photography, spending time outdoors, traveling, and enjoying quality moments with friends and family. She acknowledges her club coach, Jim Miret, and her father as influential figures who have made a difference in her life. The No. 14 holds special significance for her, as it represents the day of the month she was born.

Other Professional Experience: Edelman-Cagliari has an extensive professional volleyball career, having played in Switzerland, Spain, France, and Poland since 2016. She notably served as the team captain for Vandœuvre Nancy Volley-Ball from 2020 to 2022 and also played two seasons in the CEV Champions League, one of the top club competitions in European volleyball.

International Experience: Edelman-Cagliari's international experience includes representing the United States Youth National Team at the 2011 FIVB Youth World Championship in Ankara, Turkey. She was named to the USA Junior National Team for the 2013 FIVB World Junior Championships in the Czech Republic, where she served as a co-captain. Her versatility was further evident when she helped the Buffaloes defeat No. 14 Florida State with a career-high 14 kills. Throughout her college career, Edelman-Cagliari was a consistent presence on the court, starting the majority of matches each season.
