Ami Galani
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Tipt Ventures
Ami Galani is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tipt Ventures, a fund investing in innovation reimagining sports, starting with her. Ami also serves as a Strategic Advisor to Elysian Park Ventures and Advisor to the Board of PWHL. She serves on the board of OnePlan, a technology for large scale events including Paris 2024, and Canopy, a women-led venue design firm. She is also active with PRO Sports Assembly, a not-for-profit association for people who work in professional sports.
During her time with Elysian Park Ventures, Ami served as PWHL’s Interim Head of Business Operations in its earliest days, building the organization, talent, and functions, including placing key leaders across the organization ahead of the league’s historically significant inaugural game on January 1, 2024.
Ami comes from the retail industry as a solutions-oriented executive experienced in corporate development, strategy, governance and communications, having served a number of roles at DICK’S Sporting Goods, including Chief of Staff to Chairman & CEO and Vice President of Business Development. She is recognized as a “jack of all trades” leader, working closely with executive and functional teams, weaving details and big picture to incubate new ideas, strategies and business solutions. Throughout her career, Ami has been involved in transactions representing over $11B in value, spanning opportunities with early stage to mature companies.
