
Theresa Plaisance Returns for 2025 AU Pro Basketball Season
2022 WNBA Champion Theresa Plaisance is returning to Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.
Plaisance, a member of the Basketball Player Executive Committee, finished the 2024 season with 3,523 leaderboard points (21st place). She averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She finished 12th on the leaderboard in 2023 with 4,777 points. She averaged 11.1 and 5.3 rebounds per game. She is the single-season record holder with 22 blocked shots in 15 games. She has tallied 238 points in 600 minutes played in two seasons with AU Pro Basketball.
The WNBA’s Tulsa Shock (now the Dallas Wings) selected Plaisance with the No. 27 overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. She has since also played for the Connecticut Sun, Washington Mystics, and Las Vegas Aces, with whom she won the 2022 WNBA title. In 218 games, Plaisance recorded a 36.3 career field goal percentage and averaged 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

She played the 2021-22 season in Spain and led Clarinos in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, and 3-pointers. She has also played in China and Turkey.
Plaisance helped Team USA win the 2010 FIBA Americas U-18 Championship and a gold medal at the 2013 USA Women’s World University Games in Russia.
