Sequoia Holmes returns to AU Pro Basketball for 2025 season

Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has re-signed veteran guard Sequoia Homles to compete in the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.

This will be Holmes’s second year with the league after finishing in 16th place in the 2024 campaign. She appeared in all 12 games with three starts, averaging 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest. Holmes opened her AU Pro Basketball career with 14 points against Team Mitchell on February 29, making 5-of-11 shots from the field.

Holmes has appeared in 62 games over four WNBA seasons. Her W career spanned time with Houston, Phoenix, and San Antonio. She has had a successful overseas career competing in Angola, Israel, Turkey, and Greece. She led Interclube to a Gold medal at the 2014 FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup before securing a Silver medal at the 2015 event.
