Rebekah Gardner is officially joining Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the first time in Nashville this winter, following what was a strong 2025 WNBA season.

Gardner is coming off a productive campaign with the New York Liberty. She appeared in 41 games, made five starts, and averaged 12.2 minutes per game while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field. She contributed an average of 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per outing, and posted a season-high 15 points in September against Chicago.

Her 2025 season marked a long-awaited return after she missed the 2024 WNBA season due to an Achilles injury overseas, and a foot injury cut her 2023 campaign with Chicago short.

Gardner first broke into the league in 2022, and she made an immediate impact with the Sky. She signed a training camp deal that February and earned a roster spot, eventually playing her way onto the All-WNBA Rookie Team and the AP All-WNBA Rookie Team. She averaged 8.4 points and 21.7 minutes per game, ranked second among rookies in steals per game, and finished eighth in the league in field goal percentage at .542. Her standout rookie season also included her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds on the road in Los Angeles.

Gardner has built a lengthy international career that spans more than a decade. Her stops include Uni Girona in Spain, Sepsi SIC in Romania, Bnot Hertzliya and several other clubs in Israel, and multiple seasons in Turkey with Ormanspor, Istanbul Universitesi, and Osmaniye GSK. Her overseas play has highlighted her two-way play and ability to adapt to different roles.

Gardner also put together a strong career at UCLA, where she played in 97 games across three active seasons. She logged consistent minutes as a sophomore and junior, led the Bruins in blocks in 2010, and posted career highs of 19 points and five steals that same year. She also earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic recognition.

Gardner is set to compete in Nashville for the first time, and her arrival adds another proven defender and efficient scorer to the AU Pro Basketball roster. Her blend of WNBA success, international play, and on-court consistency makes her poised to be an immediate factor during her AU debut this winter.

AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Tickets for the upcoming season are available now.
