Morgan Hentz Named PVF Player of the Week as Atlanta Extends Historic Win Streak
Morgan Hentz has once again found herself at the center of a historic win streak — this time in the Pro Volleyball Federation. The Atlanta Vibe libero has been named PVF Player of the Week after helping lead her squad to its 10th consecutive victory, setting a new league record and reinforcing Atlanta’s status as the hottest team in the league.
Hentz is no stranger to long winning stretches. During the 2023 Athletes Unlimited Pro season, she established a league-record 11-match win streak — the longest in AU Volleyball history and equaling the most in any AU sport. Now, she’s chasing that number in a new league, proving her ability to elevate every team she’s a part of.
Her Week 14 performances played a crucial role in extending Atlanta’s streak. On April 8, Hentz recorded 21 digs and a 71% positive pass rate in a five-set comeback win at San Diego. Her poise in serve receive allowed the Vibe’s offense to stay unpredictable, as four hitters reached double-digit kills while hitting above .200. She followed that with 15 digs in a dominant three-set sweep over Orlando on April 12.
With 36 digs on the weekend, Hentz now leads the PVF with 4.5 digs per set and 433 total digs on the season, already surpassing the previous single-season record. She also holds the top spot in career digs in the PVF, with 807 in just 48 matches.

Hentz is a three-time AU Pro Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year and the Lakeside, Kentucky native continues to showcase why she’s one of the most impactful liberos in professional volleyball. Her consistency, leadership, and elite ball control are central to Atlanta’s historic season, and her defensive dominance is opening doors for a highly efficient offense week after week.
Hentz and the Atlanta Vibe return to action in Week 15 with a matchup on Saturday, April 19, as they take on the Omaha Supernovas in a battle between the league’s top two teams.
First serve is set for 7 p.m. ET and it will be streamed on Roku. You can expect to see nine AU Pro standouts in the match.
