Meet the 2023 Volleyball Week 3 Teams

Bethania De La Cruz rose to the top of the leaderboard (1,874) after an undefeated week with Team Hentz. She posted 53 kills, including the 500th kill of her AU career, and accumulated 1,145 points. However, De La Cruz was called up to the Dominican Republic National Team for the Pan American Games and will miss Week Three of competition.

As a result, positions No. 2 through No. 5 will serve as captain’s this week. Leah Edmond, who ranks No. 2 on the leaderboard with 1,737, will captain the Gold team. Edmond went 1-2 in Week Two, but managed to keep her spot in the Top 4 with 469 stat points.

Morgan Hentz (1,716 points) and Sydney Hilley (1,466 points) join Edmond as returning captains this week. Jenna Rosenthal (1,423 points) will captain a team for the first time. Rosenthal is tied for the league-lead in block assists (12).
