Here is a list of notes and tidbits related to the AU Pro Lacrosse Week One draft.

• First-year Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse players accounted for eight of the first 15 picks … Rookie attacker Izzy Scane was the first overall pick in the Week One draft. 
• Courtney Taylor was the first defender selected in the Week One Draft, going to Team Bosco with the No. 17 overall pick. 
• The first goalkeeper selected in the Week One proceedings was Britt Read, who was taken with the No. 33 overall choice by Team Bosco. 
• Midfielders accounted for 10 of the first 16 selections in the Week One draft, including three of the opening four picks. 
• Goalkeepers accounted for all four picks during the 12th round … Team Moreno selected Kat Buchanan before Caylee Waters went to Team Apuzzo … Team Glynn chose Paulina DiFatta before Team Bosco closed the round by selecting rookie Madison Doucette.

• Apuzzo is wearing the Orange jersey for the ninth time in her Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse career, including the seventh week in a row. 
• Goalkeeper Taylor Moreno, the two-time reigning AU Pro Lacrosse champion, enters her eighth straight week as a team captain dating back to the 2022 campaign … It will be the eighth time in nine career weeks she has held the role of team captain … Moreno is 11-10 all-time as a team captain. 
• Moreno will be wearing the Gold jersey for the eighth consecutive week … The only time Moreno has not worn the Gold jersey in her Athletes Unlimited career came in her debut when she wore the Orange jersey during the opening week of the 2022 campaign. 
• Goalkeeper Kady Glynn begins her seventh career stint as an Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse captain in Week One … The former Loyola Maryland star, who is 8-10 in her career as a captain, is the first player in AU Pro Lacrosse history to serve as a captain at least once in each of the league’s four seasons. 
• Defender Abby Bosco, the reigning AU Pro Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year, will be serving as a captain for the third time in her professional career … She guided her teams to a 2-4 record over two weeks as a captain during the 2023 season. 
• Goalkeeper Kat Buchanan will be wearing the Gold jersey for the first time in her two-year Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse career. 
• Midfielder Dempsey Arsenault, who was Team Apuzzo’s first pick in the Week One draft, will be donning the Orange jersey for the eighth time in 14 career Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse weekly segments, including the fourth week in a row dating back to last season.
• Apuzzo and Arsenault will be playing on the same team for the seventh time in their Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse careers, including six of the last seven weeks dating back to 2022. 
• Defender Kristen Carr was selected to the Purple team for the fourth time in the last five weeks dating back to last season … Carr, who was taken by Team Bosco in the 11th round on Monday night, is wearing the Purple jersey for the seventh time in her Athletes Unlimited career.

• Midfielder Ally Kennedy and goalkeeper Taylor Moreno will be teammates for the fourth time in their Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse careers, including the third week in a row. 
• Midfielder Lindsey McKone will be donning the Purple jersey for the fourth time in the last five weeks dating back to last season. 
• Defender Caroline Wakefield will be on the Gold squad for the eighth time in her Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse career, including the fifth consecutive week dating back to last season. 
• Midfielder Lauren Gilbert will wear the Orange jersey for the seventh time in her Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse career … She opened her career by donning the Orange top in five consecutive weeks. 
• Goalkeeper Taylor Moreno and defender Caroline Wakefield are teammates for the fifth consecutive week after Moreno selected Wakefield in the seventh round on Monday night … Moreno and Wakefield share the Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse record for the most career weeks wearing a Gold jersey.
