Forward Lydia Rivers returns to AU Pro Basketball for 2025 season
Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has signed forward Lydia Rivers to compete in the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.
Rivers returns to AU Pro Basketball after playing in the 2023 season. She most recently played overseas in the Spanish LF Endesa.
In her first AU season, Rivers amassed 3,470 leaderboard points to finish 22nd in the league standings. She appeared in 14 games off the bench, averaging 2.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She logged her first AU double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds against Team Hillmon on March 10, 2023. She is tied for the league’s single-game offensive rebound record with nine boards.
Rivers has also played professionally in Romania, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, and Latvia. She spent one season at Virginia Tech after a four-year career at Radford.
The fourth season of AU Pro Basketball will run from Feb. 5 to March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits are available now.
