Defender Kayla Wood returns for AU Pro Lacrosse Season 4

Wood finished the 2023 campaign in 24th place with 938 leaderboard points. She made her professional debut in 2021 after being one of 13 players selected in the AU Pro Lacrosse College Draft.

Wood finished No. 6 on the leaderboard with 1,561 points in her rookie campaign and served as a captain for three of the five weeks. She was one of two players to record 500 or more leaderboard points in a single week.

In three seasons with AU Pro Lacrosse, she has caused 32 caused turnovers and collected 47 ground balls.

Wood led the University of North Carolina to the NCAA Division I semifinals three times. She appeared in 66 games with 33 starts for the Tar Heels from 2018-2021.
