Christyn Williams has delivered some eye-catching performances in her debut season with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball. Ahead of Champions Week at AU, she has secured a training camp contract with the Minnesota Lynx.

The 5-foot-11 guard was drafted 14th overall by the Washington Mystics in the 2022 WNBA Draft but didn’t see any action due to a season-ending knee injury. Now, Williams is gearing up for her next WNBA opportunity.

Williams is currently averaging 8.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in AU Pro Basketball’s fourth season and scored 23 points in her impressive introduction to the league in Week One.

The Little Rock, Arkansas, native is a 2022 graduate of the University of Connecticut. In her senior campaign, she started in 33 games and was the team’s second-leading scorer with 14.2 points per game. Williams helped lead the Huskies to their first NCAA finals appearance since 2016 with a 10-point performance versus Stanford in the semifinals.

Her accolades at UConn include 2020 American Athletic Conference First Team recognition, 2019 American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, and the 2022 Ann Meyers Drysdale National Shooting Guard of the Year award, along with two All-Big East First Team nods.

Williams also represented Team USA at the 2019 Pan American Games in 3×3, where she helped her team capture gold. She won a silver medal with the 2017 U19 team at the FIBA U19 World Cup and competed in the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in China, Russia, France, and Italy.

Williams is a part of Team Siegrist for Week Four and will help take on Team Harris on Thursday, Feb. 27 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
