As the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) gears up for its 2025 Championship weekend in Las Vegas, four standout athletes who’ve also made their mark in Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball were recognized among the league’s top individual performers. Brittany Abercrombie, Brooke Nuneviller, Morgan Hentz, and Sydney Hilley – all known for their dominance in AU – continued their elite play on the PVF stage, earning major season honors.

Brittany Abercrombie, a force at the net and the 2024 AU Pro Volleyball Champion, was named PVF’s Opposite Hitter of the Year. Known for her lights-out offense and relentless scoring ability, Abercrombie rewrote the PVF record books this season. She tallied 462 kills, 1,208 total attacks, and 503 points – all league bests – while averaging a staggering 43.6 kills per set. Her powerful presence on the right side made her a nightmare for opposing defenses and a cornerstone of her team’s offense all season.
Brooke Nuneviller, who finished 3rd overall in the AU standings in 2023, was honored as PVF’s Outside Hitter of the Year. A true two-way threat, Nuneviller averaged 3.77 kills, 3.45 digs, and 4.09 points per set in 2025, ranking in the top five of each category. Known for her consistency and competitiveness, she was also the only AU player in 2023 to post multiple matches with 400+ leaderboard points, and tallied 300+ points in a match five times, a testament to her all-around impact.
Morgan Hentz, the three-time AU Defensive Player of the Year, earned PVF’s Libero of the Year honors for the second straight season. Hentz is the only repeat honoree in 2025. A defensive anchor for the Atlanta Vibe, Hentz averaged a PVF-record 4.50 digs per set and didn’t miss a single set for the second year in a row. Her unmatched range, quick reads, and leadership in the backcourt continue to set the standard for liberos across professional volleyball.
Sydney Hilley, a 2024 PVF champion with the Omaha Supernovas, was named Setter of the Year after leading the league with 1,277 assists and 11.30 assists per set. Now guiding the Indy Ignite into the 2025 PVF Playoffs, Hilley’s court vision and tempo control have elevated every hitter around her. She also tallied 308 digs, showing her value as a complete player.
These four AU Pro alums are not only thriving in the PVF, they’re leading it.
