Lacrosse Season 4 Draft Results: Meet the Week 3 Teams

Attacker Sam Apuzzo finished the week atop the leaderboard and will captain the Gold team with 905 points through six games. The Boston College standout led all players with 511 leaderboard points during the second week of action and guided Team Apuzzo to a perfect 3-0 record, which is the first team to finish a week undefeated so far in the 2024 season. Apuzzo tallied three goals, including the 100th of her AU Pro Lacrosse career, with four assists and 20 draw controls in Week Two. This marks the 11th straight week Apuzzo has captained a team.

Guiding the Orange team in Week Three is goalkeeper Taylor Moreno who sits in second place with 809 leaderboard points. Moreno returns for a 10th straight appearance as a weekly captain and will guide the Orange team for the first time. The two-time defending AU Pro Lacrosse champion gained 412 leaderboard points in Week Two, including 250 win points. Moreno increased her league lead with 67 saves after stopping 30 shots in Week Two.

Making her AU Pro Lacrosse debut as a captain, midfielder Ally Kennedy leads Team Blue in the third week of competition. The Stony Brook product ranks third on the overall leaderboard with 769 points after gaining 412 points towards the standings in Week Two, including 250 win points. Kennedy registered four goals with three assists, nine ground balls, four caused turnovers and three draw controls over her last three contests.

Also making her first stint as a team captain, attacker Charlotte North will pilot the Purple squad this week. The two-time Tewaaraton Award recipient leads the league in scoring with 23 goals and 30 points at the midway point of the season. North sits in fourth place on the leaderboard and just five points behind Kennedy with 764 points after claiming 435 points during Week Two play. The attacker notched 11 goals with one assist over her last three games.
