Ashley Joens signs with AU Pro Basketball for Season 4
Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has signed guard-forward Ashley Joens for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.
Joens was selected with the 19th overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2023 WNBA Draft. She appeared in 19 games during her first season with the Wings, Las Vegas Aces, and Phoenix Mercury.
She most recently competed overseas with Whai Tauihi in New Zealand and Dinamo Sassari in Italy.
Joens completed her five-year career at Iowa State as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 3,060 points — ninth-best in NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball history. She is the Big 12’s all-time leader in career starts, starting all 158 games at Iowa State. Joens name is across Iowa State’s record books for points per game (19.4), field goals (988), 3-pointers (344), free throws (740), and rebounds (1,391). Those metrics also rank in the top 10 in Big 12 history.
She is a three-time Cheryl Miller Award Winner, a four-time unanimous All-Big 12 First Team selection, a two-time WBCA All-American, and the 2022-23 Big 12 Player of the Year.
The fourth season of AU Pro Basketball will run from February 5 to March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now.
