WNBA Champion Jaylyn Sherrod has signed with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sherrod made an impact after signing a training camp contract with the New York Liberty, averaging 6.0 points in two preseason games. She was waived on May 14, 2024, but returned to the Liberty on July 6 on a 7-day contract. She debuted on July 11 against the Chicago Sky and signed two additional 7-day contracts before signing an end-of-season contract. She appeared in two games during the Liberty’s postseason run en route to becoming the 2024 WNBA Champions.

Sherrod was unselected out of the University of Colorado in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She led the Buffaloes to their first NCAA Tournament since 2013, averaging 8.1 points and 3.8 assists in 31 starts. Colorado reached the Sweet Sixteen the following season, marking the program’s best finish in 20 years. She ranked first in the Pac-12 with 78 steals and earned Pac-12 All-Defensive Team and All-Pac-12 honors.

She became CU’s all-time leader in games started (133) as a graduate in the 2023-24 season. She became the third player in program history with 1,000 career points and 600 assists.

Sherrod helped the Buffaloes to their second consecutive Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2024. She was named All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Defensive Team, and the 2024 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The fourth season of AU Pro Basketball will run from February 5 to March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now.
