Bree Hall to join AU Pro Basketball for Season 5 following rookie WNBA season
Following what has been an eventful rookie WNBA season, Bree Hall is set to bring her versatile two-way game to Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball, signing on for the league’s fifth season.
The 6-foot-1 guard has had a challenging start to her professional career, but AU will provide a chance to fine-tune her skills and log valuable reps against elite competition. Hall most recently signed a rest-of-season hardship contract with the Indiana Fever, stepping in as the team battled a string of injuries, including the loss of star Caitlin Clark.
Hall is not the only AU athlete to help fill in the gaps in Indiana. She joins 2025 AU runner-up Odyssey Sims and 2025 AU Defensive Player of the Year Shey Peddy, both of whom joined the team on hardship contracts and committed to play the rest of the season with the squad following some big-time contributions.
Hall began her pro journey when the Fever selected her with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Though waived after training camp, she flashed her potential during preseason, scoring nine points and grabbing four rebounds against Brazil’s national team. Later in June, she joined the Golden State Valkyries on a short-term deal before returning to Indiana in September.
At South Carolina, Hall was a cornerstone of one of the most decorated recruiting classes in program history. She helped guide the Gamecocks to two NCAA national championships (2022, 2024), four SEC regular-season titles, and three SEC Tournament crowns while appearing in a program-record 147 games. Known for her perimeter defense and timely shot-making, Hall ranked sixth in USC history in career three-point percentage (.369) after her final season, and started every game as a senior in 2024–25.
Now, Hall will return to the pro stage in Nashville with Athletes Unlimited, where her defensive grit and championship experience will be put to the test against some of the best in the game.
AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
