Megan Faraimo signs to return for 2024 AU Pro Softball Championship Season
Faraimo is the reigning AU Softball Rookie of the Year after posting stellar numbers in the circle during her pro debut. She became the second pitcher in league history to throw a no-hitter on August 6 against Team Zerkle, allowing just one walk with six strikeouts in the 1-0 victory.
She led the league with two complete games and joined Georgina Corrick as the only pitcher to record a shutout. Faraimo fashioned a 3-3 record and a 2.87 earned run average in 12 appearances. The righty held opponents to a .240 batting average and retired the side in order 15 times, which was tied with Rachel Garcia for the most instances in the league.
Faraimo is a member of Team USA and helped lead them to a Gold medal at the 2022 World Games and a Gold medal at the 2022 Pan American Championship, where she posted a 4-0 record with 12 strikeouts in 13.0 innings.
