Kathryn Sandercock Joins 2024 AU Pro Softball Championship Season Roster

Pitcher Kathryn Sandercock has signed to compete in the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Championship season.

It will be her second campaign with the league after her rookie season in 2023, where she placed 22nd with 1,284 leaderboard points. She was selected in the 2023 AU Pro Softball College Draft and made her professional debut on July 29, 2023, against Team McCleney.

Sandercock excelled as a relief pitcher, posting a 2.05 ERA over 30.2 innings and setting the single-season record with three saves. 

She competed with Team USA at the 2022 Japan All-Star Series, the 2023 WBSC World Cup Group A event, and the 2023 Pan American Games.

Sandercock pitched five seasons at Florida State with a 107-12 record in 184 appearances and a 1.44 ERA. She is the Seminoles single-season (10) and career saves (18) leader. She led Florida State to two NCAA Women’s College World Series appearances and two Atlantic Coast Conference titles. The three-time First-Team All-ACC honoree was named the 2023 ACC Pitcher of the Year and a Top 25 Finalist for the 2022 and 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award.
