It was a week of firsts in Week 7 of the Pro Volleyball Federation.
The Vegas Thrill recorded the first reverse sweep in league history and Alisha Childress was named Player of the Week, the first setter to earn the honor.
The Thrill’s five-set comeback win (21-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 15-12) was against the Grand Rapids Rise on Sunday night. The reverse sweep is indicated by the Thrill losing the first two sets but sweeping the final three to a victory.
