USC's McKenzie Forbes signs with AU Pro Basketball for 2025 season
Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has signed McKenzie Forbes to compete in the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.
Forbes competed at the University of California, Berkeley during her freshman season, where she was named an All-Pac-12 Freshman Honorable Mention. She transferred to Harvard and played her junior and senior seasons with the team after a canceled season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She appeared in 56 games for the Crimson, averaging 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. She was named Second Team All-Ivy League (2021-22) and to the Ivy League Madness All-Tournament Team (2022-23).
Forbes transferred to the University of Southern California for the 2023-24 season. She started in 35 games, averaging 14.3 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. Forbes led the team to the Pac-12 title, earning All-Pac-12 Team and Pac-12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
She was drafted 28th overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2024 WNBA Draft but was waived by the team in May. She joined the NBL1 South’s Waverley Falcons, helping the team to the NBL1 South Championship.
The fourth season of AU Pro Basketball will run from February 5 to March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits are available now.
