Southern Mississippi's Hannah Borden signs with AU Pro Softball

Borden is a five-year letter winner from Southern Mississippi. She started in 222-of-224 games from 2020 to 2024 and holds the program record for home runs with 50. She recorded a .313 career batting average and is second in program history with 150 career RBIs. In her season as a graduate student, she earned First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference and collected Third-Team NFCA All-South Region laurels after hitting a program-record and conference-leading 18 home runs.

Her final season as a Golden Eagle was her best yet, leading the Sun Belt with a .775 slugging percentage. Borden had a career-best 61 hits, including nine doubles. She had 16 multi-hit games in 2024.
