Shey Peddy Joins AU Pro Basketball for 2025 Season

Shey Peddy has signed with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.

Peddy was drafted 23rd overall in the 2012 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky but did not make her WNBA debut until 2019 with the Washington Mystics. She has appeared in 32 regular-season games between the Mystics (24) and the Phoenix Mercury (8). She averaged 2.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.

She scored 12 points, four rebounds, and three steals off the bench for the Mercury against the Mystics in the Round 1 Playoff game on September 1, 2020.

Peddy has played overseas in Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Turkey, and London, where she won the 2024 EuroCup with the London Lions.

Peddy began her college career at Wright State University in 2007. She was named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and earned All-Defensive Team honors twice. She transferred to Temple University in 2010 where she was named the 2012 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. She led the conference with 17.6 points and 3.1 steals per game.
