ROSEMONT, Ill. — When the members of Team Leach look at the box score from Monday night’s Athletes Unlimited AUX Softball game against Team Filler, there may be just two things that bother them – the fact the team didn’t get a shutout and the squad didn’t score in all seven innings.

Other than those two things, Team Leach’s performance was nearly as perfect as the weather at Parkway Bank Sports Complex with the squad producing a 13-3 victory to remain unbeaten in Series Two.

The win allowed Team Leach to improve to 2-0, while Team Fuller dipped to 1-1.

Rookie Megan Faraimo, who finished with 226 leaderboard points, earned her second Game MVP honor of the season after receiving the game’s top award in the win. The former UCLA standout allowed two runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings while upping her record to 2-0.

Middle infielder Sis Bates claimed MVP 2 recognition after going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a walk, earning 178 leaderboard points in the victory. The former Washington star was one of eight Team Leach players to author a multi-hit performance.

Catcher Mia Davidson secured the Game MVP sweep for Team Leach after notching an MVP 3 effort with three hits, including her third home run of the season.

Outfielders Amanda Lorenz and Megan Wiggins each registered two hits with a run batted in for Team Filler in the loss. Rookie Brooke Yanez dropped to 0-2 in the circle after conceding four runs on six hits in 2.0 innings.

Team Leach scored in each of its first four trips to the plate, including a four-run outburst in the fourth inning, to build a 9-0 lead. Team Filler ended the shutout bid with a single tally in the fifth inning on an RBI single by outfielder Amanda Lorenz.

Middle infielder Aubrey Leach returned to the top of the leaderboard after earning 118 points in the victory, while Davidson elevated her standing by three positions and owns second place with 770 points. Faraimo made the largest jump with a 19-spot improvement to hold the No. 5 position with 626 points
