Meet the 2023 Volleyball Week 2 Teams

While Edmond is returning to the captain’s chair, the others will make their debut as captains. It also marks the end of Bethania De La Cruz’s 10-week streak as a captain, dating back to Week Two of the 2021 season.

Edmond (1,052 points) leads the league in kills (46) and ranks second in blocks (10). She received MVP honors — MVP 1, MVP 2, and MVP 3 for 120 MVP points — for her efforts in each match this weekend.

Captaining the Orange team is Linnehan (940 points), who posted 32 kills in her first week with Athletes Unlimited Volleyball.

Hentz (895 points) will captain the Blue team. She had record-setting performance with 25 digs to open the season.

Rounding out the captains is Hilley (891 points) who has 111 assists on the season with seven blocks. She’ll remain in Purple this week.
